Recent Projects

Welcome to our first posting on our blog!  YMS Kids n Yarn is a group of 5th and 6th graders who are getting together during their lunch and recess to knit, spin, crochet, help each other and create wonderful projects.  As students complete projects, we will post pictures  here.  The students can go on and explain their project or comment on each other's projects.  We hope you enjoy our blog!

    right now im making a little bag for a chrismas present for my mom, then ill make a cool one for myself that will hopfully turn out good.

    Hi! Mrs.Simonds it's julia.h I think all of these projects are VERY cool right now I am starting scarf. I had tried to one make before when I just had learned how to knit it didn't work out so well! :( I LOVE the new blog

    Thanks to all of this knitting, I have again started to knit...I taught myself to crochet a hat on the plane ride to Mexico....thanks girls for the inspiration! Keep up the good work!
